Tire Rack Consumer Review of the Bridgestone Blizzak WS80

I've been using dedicated winter tires on four corners since 1989. Had at least two and up to six active vehicles, cars, trucks, and SUVs, in the household running winter tires. Ran different winter models of Bridgestone, Firestone, Dunlop, Michelin, Cooper, Pirelli, and General. These Blizzaks are hands down the best winter tires I've ever had. Living in Northeast Ohio, with a sales territory of Northern Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Western Pennsylvania, and West Virginia I've had opportunity to drive in almost every conceivable winter condition. The balance of handling, braking, traction, and tread wear is a real advancement over the past tires I've owned. The one downside is that they are noisy. They ring any time they are rolling, and growl like a bad wheel bearing in low speed turns, but that is an insignificant price to pay for this type of confident, safe mobility. If your job or lifestyle requires that you be on the road no matter what, these are the tires for you.
